YT Music Looper Support - YTMusicTrainer.com

YT Music Looper adds A/B looping and playback-speed controls directly below YouTube videos for music practice. It is a lightweight companion to YTMusicTrainer.com.

Getting Started

Install YT Music Looper from the Chrome Web Store.
Open a YouTube watch page.
The YT Music Looper panel should appear directly below the video.
Use Set Start and Set End to define a loop.
Turn Loop ON to repeat the selected section.
Use the + and - speed controls to adjust playback speed.
Use Save Loop to keep multiple loop sections for the current video.
Click “Open in ytmusictrainer.com” to continue with the video and loop information in YTMusicTrainer.

Common Problems

The YT Music Looper panel does not appear

Try:

Refresh the YouTube page.
Confirm that the extension is enabled in Chrome.
Make sure you are on a normal YouTube watch page.
Reload the extension from chrome://extensions if you are testing a development version.
Restart Chrome if necessary.

Looping is not working

Try:

Make sure both A and B points are set.
Confirm that Loop is set to ON.
Make sure B is later than A.
Try resetting the loop points.

Playback speed does not change

Try:

Refresh the page.
Confirm that the YouTube video is fully loaded.
Try changing speed again using the + or - buttons.

Saved loops disappeared

Saved loops are stored locally in Chrome.

They may be lost if:

Chrome extension storage is cleared
the extension is removed
browser data is reset

Privacy

YT Music Looper stores practice information locally in the browser, such as loop positions and playback settings.

Information is sent to YTMusicTrainer.com only when the user explicitly chooses “Open in ytmusictrainer.com.”
